Women's golf team finishes well at Lady Titan Invitational
The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team finished well in the Lady Titan Invitational Tuesday at Rockledge Country Club.
The Titans had just four golfers due to the flu bug but shot a 328 in the final round to finish with a 676 for the tournament.
Sophomore Katelyn McCallum shot a 79 in the final round while Gianna Piscitelli had an 82. Freshman Dayna Owens shot an 83 and finished with a team-best 163 in her first event as a Titan, placing in a tie for seventh overall. Sophomore Danica Swaggerty shot an 84 in the final round.
Seminole State won the tournament, shooting a 607 in the two rounds. Individually, Tuan-Yu Chiang was the medalist, shooting 1-over 143 for the tournament. Teammates Worapitcha Anndit and Alexandra Naumovski finished in a tie for second.
The Titans will play in the Seminole State Spring Invitational March 5-6 in Lake Mary.
