Women's golf team solid in first round of Flagler Fall Slam
The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team had a solid first round at the Flagler Fall Slam in St. Augustine on Monday.
The Titans shot a 345 as a team and were led by sophomore Lauren Holder who shot a 79 and is tied for 51st overall. Teammate Regan Taylor shot an 83 and is tied for 76th.
"A challenging day on a very good Marsh Creek Country Club," Eastern Florida State College women's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "The Lady Titans are playing hard and we continue to work to improve every day."
Barry University leads the event, shooting a 292 in the first round.
The final round will tee off at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
