Men's golf team in second place after two rounds of District 4 Championship
The Eastern Florida State College men's golf team is sitting in second place after the first two rounds of the NJCAA District 4 Championship at Duran Golf Club.
Central Aabama leads the championship with rounds of 281 and 291 while the Titans shot 285 and 303.
"We are going to need an incredible round and we will need a little bit of help," Eastern Florida State College men's golf coach Jamie Howell said. "We played well in the morning and early in the second round, but after a rain delay everyone really struggled for some reason. We need to shoot a good round tomorrow."
Sophomore Fraser Davren led the Titans, shooting a 145 while Greg Darnell shot a 147, Beck Fox is at 149, Ryan Rozic shot 150 and Kyle Decenzo is at 151.
Teams will tee off in the final round Tuesday morning at Duran Golf Club with the top six teams will advance to the NJCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship May 15-18 in Lubbock, Texas.
