The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team went 1-1 on the final day of the Beat The Heat tournament in Phoenix, Arizona.
In the first match of the day, the Titans picked up a four-set win against Imperial Valley Community College, 25-21, 15-25, 25-23, 25-13.
Freshman Cassandra Gregory had 12 kills, 27 assists and 15 digs while Shaine Horvath had 11 kills and Anaeli Perea Martin had a team-high 23 digs.
The Titans suffered their first loss of the season in the final match of the tournament, losing to Glendale Community College in three sets, 25-20, 25-23, 25-17.
Sophomore Laura Azevedo had 13 assists while Gregory added 12 assists in the match. Martin finished with 10 digs.
Martin was named to the all-tournament team.
The Titans went 4-1 in the tournament and will be home for the first time this season on Friday, hosting Webber International at 6 p.m. Admission to Titan Field House is free.
