Bobby Cashman has built the Eastern Florida State College women's tennis team into a contender in five seasons.

Last season the Titans went back to the national tournament and Luisa Renovales made it to the semifinals at No. 6 singles. The team won consolation finals in two events and finished 10th overall.

In 2021, the Titans just missed the national tournament after finishing fourth in the state tournament.

In 2020 the Titans reached the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament, finishing sixth overall. Sophomore Tsveti Trifonova was named an ITA All-American.

In 2019, the Titans finished sixth in the FCSAA Region 8 Women's Tennis Tournament.

In 2018, the Titans finished second in the Region 8 tournament to advance to the national tournament for the first time. At nationals, the Titans placed fifth in the national tournament and finished the season ranked fifth in the Oracle/ITA national rankings.

Cashman came to EFSC after 17 seasons as the UCF head coach where he enjoyed success both on and off the court. Before joining Rollins College as an assistant coach in December, Cashman's UCF teams won three Atlantic Sun championships between 2002 and 2005 and also had the highest team grade point average for men's sports at UCF six times.

Cashman, who was also an assistant coach at the University of Kansas and the Associate men's and women's tennis coach at Barry University, takes over a Titans program that finished 11-8 on the men's side and 18-9 on the women's side.

A member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Cashman has also volunteered his time at the Lipton Tennis Tournament in Miami, working a series of free clinics for inner-city children. He is married and has three children.
