Bio

Carina McCarver joins the Eastern Florida State College Softball program for the Spring 2020 season.

A 2016 homeschool graduate, Carina played at Merritt Island Christian School in Merritt Island, FL, where she lettered in varsity soccer and softball all four years. During her junior year at MICS,  she received Hot Hitter Award, Most Stolen Bases Award, which was top three in the 2A District, a record which still stands. Her .750 batting average is still No. 1 all time.

McCarver played at Eastern Florida State College for two seasons, graduating with her AA in 2018.  

McCarver went on to play one year at Young Harris College in North Georgia, where they went 44-20, winning the Southeast Region, which earned them a berth in the NCAA Division II Women’s College World Series. Young Harris College took fourth place in the National Tournament.

McCarver will be assisting Coach Beitia while completing her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in Sports Studies.
