The Eastern Florida State College softball team's season ended Friday morning in the FCSAA Division I Softball Championship in Clearwater.
The Titans lost to Santa Fe College 6-2 in a B Bracket game at Eddie C. Moore Complex. Eastern Florida State College finishes the season 39-22 and made the FCSAA tournament for the second straight season.
Down 6-0 after four innings, the Titans scored twice in the top of the fifth inning as Aracelis Jimenez scored on Isabel Otero's triple and then Otero scored on Avery Velazquez single.
Jimenez finished 2-for-4 in the game and was 6-for-11 for the tournament.
The Titans came into the tournament as the No. 7 seed and won their first game, defeating No. 2 seed Northwest Florida State College 2-1 in eight innings. They lost in the semifinals on Thursday afternoon to Chipola College 6-5 in nine innings before Friday's loss.
