Bio

Sean Poole is in his second year as an assistant coach at EFSC. Poole is finishing his Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management with a specialization in Sports Management at EFSC, holding a 4.0 in the program.

Poole attended public and private schools locally in the area, graduating from Melbourne High School. While in high school, Poole played basketball, football, soccer, and ran track, all at the varsity level. This would include four years representing the Central Florida area in the NACA (National Association of Christian Athletes) All-Star tournament in Dayton, Tennessee. The final year attending the tournament is when Poole found his passion for coaching. Due to the women’s coach becoming ill at the tournament, in addition to playing for the men’s team, Poole stepped up and filled in as the women’s coach at just 19 years old.

Before entering the US Navy in 2008, Poole was the assistant coach for West Shore High School’s women’s varsity. Since returning home, Poole has been involved in youth basketball in the area. He has coached numerous championship teams spanning all age groups. In addition to coaching, he owns a local athletic training company UNTD Basketball and Training where he trains athletes ranging from 6 to 18 years of age and is now the league president of G.W.M.A.A. youth basketball.
