Camryn Somers comes to Eastern Florida State College after completing a B.S. degree in Psychology with a concentration in Sport Psychology at Northwest Missouri State University in 2019. While at NWMSU, Somers volunteered as a student assistant for the women’s basketball team.

Somers worked alongside experienced mental skills coaches at P3 Performance and Hearts & Minds LLC hosting various mental skills camps across the state of Iowa. The 2016 Crestn High School graduate swam for the University of Nebraska Omaha from 2016-2017 until a career ending medical issue. Somers transferred to Southwestern Community College and played on the women’s golf team and graduated with an AA degree in 2017.

Somers is currently working on a M.S. and Ed.D in Sport and Performance Psychology through the University of Western States.
