The Eastern Florida State College men's basketball team fell to ASA Miami in a non-conference game Saturday at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus.
The Titans were outscored 11-5 in the final 2:30 of the game as the Silver Storm pulled out the 72-66 win.
Eastern Florida State College led 30-27 at halftime but ASA Miami took a quick six-point lead in the first seven minutes of the second half. Three-point plays by both Johnny Bernard and Calvin Paulina brought the Titans back and a Nick Alves basket gave the Titans a 43-42 lead with 10:49 remaining.
Bernard finished with a team-high 13 points while Alves and Brian Dugazon each finished with 10 points in the loss.
Jean Karlo Rivera finished with a game-high 19 points for ASA Miami.
Eastern Florida State College, who fell to 13-9 overall, will travel to the Florida State College at Jacksonville Wednesday night in a Mid-Florida Conference game before returning to Titan Field House next Saturday against the College of Central Florida.
