Sophomore Clayton Stanley had his best day as a Titan Saturday afternoon, helping the baseball team to a 13-7 win against Lake Sumter State College.
The outfielder went 3-for-5 with two home runs and drove in six runs while teammates Alejandro Rodriguez and Kevin Silva also hit home runs in the win. Rodriguez also had three hits as five players had multi-hit games.
Raynieri de Los Santos Disla improved to 2-0 on the season, allowing two runs in five innings.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Titans who are 3-3 and will be back at Bruce Bochy Field Monday evening against the State College of Florida Manatee-Sarasota. The first pitch will be at 5 p.m. and admission is free to Bruce Bochy Field.
