Women's volleyball team set to host No. 2 Miami Dade Saturday

The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team will host Miami Dade College in a key Citrus Conference match Saturday afternoon.

The match will begin at 2 p.m. at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus.

The Titans, who are ranked No. 20 in NJCAA Division I poll, come into the contest winning three of the past four matches and are 11-5 overall and 4-5 in the conference. They are coming off a straight set win against Hillsborough Community College.

Miami Dade College is No. 2 in the nation and are 13-2 overall and 6-1 in the conference heading into Friday night's match against Santa Fe College. The Sharks won the first matchup this season in four sets in Miami as was led by the duo of Beatrice Carulli and Ana Tevdoradze. Sofia Kamke recorded a game-high 15 kills in the match for the Titans while Emma Kiser added 10.

Kamke has 124 kills this season for the Titans while freshman Dominae Jordan has been averaging 14 kills in the past three matches.
