Women's volleyball player Gaia Riedmuller named Region 8 Defensive Player of Week

Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball player Gaia Riedmuller was named the Florida College System Activities Association Region 8 Defensive Player of the Week.

The freshman from Bolzano, Italy had 13 digs against Polk State College and then 19 digs against Santa Fe College to help the Titans go 2-0 last week. The libero now has 268 digs this season for the Titans which is third in the state.

Riedmuller is the third Titan to be named a Region 8 Player of the Week this season which is the most in the past couple of decades for the Titans.
