Women's volleyball team hosts Indian River State College Thursday

The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team will be back in action Thursday night in a Suncoast Conference match at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus.

The Titans, who are 9-3 overall and 0-2 in the conference, will face Indian River State College who is also 0-2 in the conference to start the season.

Indian River State College has won two in a row and is now 4-9 overall heading to Titan Field House. The Pioneers are led by Greta Klotz who is third in Region 8 in kills per set, averaging 3.62 and has a state-leading 152 in 11 matches this season.

Eastern Florida State College has had a bit of a break since falling short in a thrilling five-set match on the road against No. 15 Daytona State College last Thursday.

The Titans are led by Gaia Riedmuller who is third in the state in digs with 140 and the duo of Paulina Dobreva and Sofia Kamke are tied for eighth in Region 8 with 101 kills each.

Thursday night's match will begin at 6 p.m. at Titan Field House and admission to matches are free. Fans can also watch the match live online at EFSC Titans YouTube page.
