Volleyball team sweeps FSC-Jacksonville

The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team defeated the Florida State College at Jacksonville in straight sets Friday afternoon on the road.

The Titans won 25-21, 25-17 and 25-13 to pick up their sixth win of the season. It is the fourth time this season the Titans have won in straight sets.

Sophomore Giselle Giraud led the way with 18 kills and two aces while teammate Fabiola Rivera had nine kills, 13 digs and three aces. Janleen De Jesus finished with 34 setter assists and 15 digs while Yuleidy Torres also had 15 digs in the win. Angelica Ruiz finished with a personal best of 12 digs and Agatha Rodrigues had six kills for the Titans.

Eastern Florida State College will travel to Santa Fe on Tuesday for a Suncoast Conference match.
