Women's volleyball team hosts Daytona State Tuesday night

The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team will face Daytona State College in a Suncoast Conference matchup Tuesday night at Titan Field House.

The match will be shown live on WEFS-TV and on the EFSC YouTube page.

Eastern Florida State College comes into the match 2-6 in the conference while the Falcons, who won the first matchup in four sets at Daytona, are 6-2 in the conference. Daytona State is No. 19 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll.

The Titans are led by sophomore Giselle Giraud who is second in the state in kills per set with 3.95 and has 154 kills this season. Teammate Yuleidy Torres is fifth in the state in digs and digs per set with 165 this season, averaging 4.23 per set. Sophomore Janleen De Jesus is fifth in assists per set with 7.77.

The Falcons are led by sophomore Svea Frobel who leads the state in kills per set, averaging 4.32 and has 164 kills this season.

The match will begin at 6 p.m. at Titan Field House and admission is free.
