Volleyball program releases 2019 schedule

The Eastern Florida State College volleyball team will be road warriors this season, opening the season with 11 of the first 12 matches away from Titan Field House.

Head coach Carmelo Eleutiza will begin his first season with the Titans in Phoenix, Arizona. The Titans volleyball program will play in the Beat the Heat Tournament, facing host Phoenix College in the season opener on Aug. 23. Eastern Florida State College will play five matches in two days in Phoenix before hosting Webber International JV on Aug. 30 in the home opener.

The Titans will then play a couple of matches in Fort Myers against Palm Beach State College and the host Florida Southwestern on Sept. 3. Then they will travel to New Port Richey for the Bobcat Invitational for four matches on Sept. 6 and 7.

After a home match against Indian River State College on Sept. 11, the Titans will compete in the FSC Jacksonville Tournament on Sept. 13 and 14.

The Titans will open the Mid-Florida Conference at home on Sept. 24 against Polk State College who went to the NJCAA National Championship Tournament last season after winning the conference last season. Daytona State College and Polk State College are also in the conference with the Titans, who will be looking to snap a nine-game losing streak in conference play.
