The Eastern Florida State College volleyball team were victorious in four sets against Lake-Sumter State College at Titan Field House Tuesday night.

Sophomore Ariel Letcher led the way for the Titans with 11 kills and freshman Maddy Campbell finished with nine in the win.

The Titans were trading points with the LakeHawks early in the first set before pulling away, winning 25-15. They also took the second set, 25-17.

The LakeHawks struck back in the third set, jumping out to an early 9-4 lead and held on to win 25-15 to force a fourth set.

The fourth set was intense and competitive as the Titans were down 21-17 but rallied towards a 26-24 victory in the fourth and final set.

Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball coach Andrea Twelvetrees was very pleased with her team's performance.

"We executed really well on both sides of the ball tonight. The first two sets were arguably the best that we have played all season," Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball coach Andrea Twelvetrees said.

Come out to Titan Fieldhouse Wednesday night at 6 p.m. as the Titans play their final game of the season against St. Johns River State College.  Wednesday night will also be sophomore night as the team will honor the five sophomores after the match. Admission is free to matches at Titan Field House.
