Volleyball team loses in Mid-Florida Conference playoff game

The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team lost in the first round of the Mid-Florida Conference playoffs Tuesday night.

The Titans lost at Daytona State College in straight sets, 25-17, 25-14 and 25-15. Daytona State College will advance to play the College of Central Florida on Thursday.

Eastern Florida State College will wrap up the season with two matches next week at Titan Field House. The Titans will host Lake Sumter State College at 6 p.m. Tuesday and then St Johns River State College Wednesday at 6 p.m. Wednesday's game will also be sophomore night.
