Women's volleyball team loses to Daytona State
The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team lost to Daytona State College in a Mid-Florida Conference match Tuesday at Titan Field House.
The Titans fell in three sets, 25-20, 25-15, 25-19. Eastern Florida State College came out strong in the first set and led most of the way but tied 19-19 Daytona State College won six of the next seven points to take the first set.
After losing the second set, the Titans came out swinging early in the third set as Elisa Pauzer had three kills to give the Titans a 6-3 lead. The match continued to stay close as Ariel Letcher had a couple of kills to keep the Titans in striking distance. But Daytona State College went on another run to win the set and the match.
The Titans, who are 3-12 overall and 0-5 in the conference, will wrap up the Mid-Florida Conference regular season on Thursday night at the College of Central Florida. The Titans will also play two matches at Indian River State College on Saturday.
