Volleyball team loses to Polk State

The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team lost to Polk State in a Mid-Florida Conference match Thursday night at Titan Field House. 

The Titans fell in three sets to the No. 9 team in the country.

The first set was a battle as the Titans went down by as many as eight but stormed back behind sophomores Carley Gregory and Ariel Letcher. A big block cut the lead to one, 23-22 but Polk State pulled out the win, 25-22.

Polk State went on to win the next two sets 25-11. The Titans fell to 3-12 overall and 0-4 in the conference.

The Titans will host Daytona State College in a Mid-Florida Conference match on Tuesday night. The match begins at 7 p.m. and will be livestreamed on the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
