The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team lost to Daytona State College in the first round of the postseason Tuesday night.
The Titans battled the Falcons, falling 25-22, 25-20, 25-10 and are now 10-11 overall on the season.
The first set saw Daytona State take a 5-1 lead but the Titans fought back and cut the lead to one, 13-12 and the match stayed that way until the end as the Falcons edged the Titans 25-22.
The second set was tied 9-9 but a couple of close plays went the Falcons way and the Titans went down 2-0, losing 25-20. The third set was all Falcons as they advanced to play Polk State College on Thursday night.
The Titans will wrap up the season next Tuesday night at Webber University when they play the JV team.
