The Eastern Florida State College women's volleyball team fell in straight sets to Indian River State College Tuesday night in a Southern Conference match in Fort Pierce.
The Titans jumped out to an early 15-10 lead, but saw Indian River State College rally back to tie things 17-17. The Pioneers had all the momentum and held a 23-19 lead before the Titans fought back and tied things 24-24 on a Malvis Ortiz kill. But they could not close it, falling 26-24.
The next two sets saw Indian River State College jump out to an early lead and the Titans could not catch up, falling 25-15, 25-16.
Eastern Florida State College (12-9, 2-4) will be back at Titan Field House on Thursday night when they host Miami-Dade in a key Southern Conference matchup. Game time is 6 p.m. and admission is free.
