Titans Dal Pozzo Signs With FIU for Beach Volleyball

Eastern Florida sophomore volleyball player Mariana Dal Pozzo has signed a Letter of Intent to play beach volleyball at NCAA Division I Florida International University in Miami.

Dal Pozzo, a 5-foot, 6-inch outside hitter from Toledo, Brazil and Blinn College in Texas, led the Titans in points with 353.5, kills with 315, kills per set at 3.06, digs at 321 and digs per set at 3.12. She was third in service aces with 26.

"We are very proud of her accomplishments here at EFSC and know that she has very bright future ahead," said Eastern Florida head coach Andrea Rasmussen.

Beach volleyball became the NCAA's 90^th championship sport in 2015 with its first champions to be crowned this spring.

Teams consist of five pairs of players who compete two at a time on a sand court.
