Titans' Dal Pozzo Earns All-Conference Volleyball Honor

Eastern Florida sophomore Marianna Dal Pozzo has been named to the Florida College System Activities Association All-Southern Conference volleyball first team.

Sophomores Juliana Torres and Lena Kaelberer were second team selections and sophomore Treasure Ingram and freshman Megan Graefe were honorable mention selections.

Dal Pozzo, a 5-foot, 8-inch outside and right side hitter from Toledo, Brazil, finished the season with a team-high 315 kills and a team-high 321 digs. She also was an FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Player of the Week honoree.

Torres, a 6-2 middle blocker from Joinville, Brazil, finished with 147 kills, 101 blocks and a team-high 40 service aces. Kaelberer, a 6-foot middle blocker from Stuttgart, Germany, had 103 blocks and 70 kills.

Ingram, 5-10 outside and right side hitter, compiled 225 kills and 124 digs while Graefe, a 5-6 libero, defensive specialist and outside hitter finished with 288 digs in just 20 matches.

"I am really proud of the hard work and dedication from each of the players this year and it is great to see them rewarded with these honors," said head coach Andrea Rasmussen.

Volleyball finished 11-17 overall and 2-6 in the conference.

In other volleyball news Rasmussen is holding an open tryout from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 15 at the Titan Field House on the Melbourne Campus.
