Bio

Caleb Hyatt returns to Eastern Florida State College as an assistant coach with the tennis program.

Hyatt spent two years as an assistant coach with the Eastern Florida State College tennis program. Prior to his work with the Titans, Caleb served as the assistant coach for the Mars Hill University men’s and women’s tennis teams. Before joining Mars Hill he coached and traveled full time with the Georgia State men’s tennis team as a volunteer assistant.

Caleb finished his Associates Degree and began working towards his Bachelor’s degree in 2018.  Prior to attending EFSC he completed Massage Therapy School in Atlanta.  His primary focus was on sports application and he completed his internship working with the Emory University women’s tennis team.

One of his proudest moments as a competitive tennis player was winning an open tournament and reaching the round of 16 in a US Open Sectional Qualifier. He finished ranked in the top 10 in the Men’s Open Division in North Carolina in 2011. He developed his game under a former top 200 touring pro and a Slovenian National Team Player. Caleb is a native of Asheville, North Carolina and currently resides in Melbourne.
