Women's tennis team opens spring season Jan. 24

The Eastern Florida State College women's tennis team will begin the spring season Jan. 24 on the road against Saint Leo University.

And they will do it with several players ranked in the Oracle ITA Junior College Tennis Rankings.

The women's team has two sophomores ranked in singles as sophomore Tsveti Trifonova is ranked 17^th and Chengeto Moyana is ranked No. 42.

They will play 16 regular season matches with the home opener scheduled for Feb. 6 in a Region match against St. Petersburg at 3 p.m.

The women's tennis conference championship will begin April 16 in Orlando.
