Women's tennis team falls to Broward

The Eastern Florida State College women's tennis lost to Broward Community College 6-3 in a Region 8 matchup Friday on the road.

Chengeto Moyana came back to pick up a big win at No. 4 singles, falling 6-2 in the first set but won the second set 6-0 to force a third set. The third set was a close battle with Moyana pulling out the 10-7 win.

Tsveti Trifonova picked up a straight sets win at No. 2 singles and sophomore Emma Othmer won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 5 singles.

The Titans will be at Titan Tennis Center Feb. 15 against Florida National University at noon. Admission is free to matches at Titan Tennis Center.
