Women's soccer team heads to Daytona State College for conference game Friday
The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team will travel to Daytona State College for a battle of top 15 teams in the country on Friday.
The No. 10-ranked Titans will play the Falcons who are No. 11 in the NJCAA Division I poll at 7 p.m. in a conference matchup at Daytona State College.
Both teams are 1-0 in the conference heading into the first of two meetings.
Freshman Lili Baidoe is tied for the lead in goals scored with six this season for the Titans while teammate Aimee Longhurst has scored four times. Tiggi Gent leads the conference in assists with four.
Daytona State College has scored 19 goals in six games this season, led by Valeria Vasquez who has scored four times.
The Titans lead the series 13-2 in the past 15 matchups but Daytona State College is 2-1 at home the past two seasons against Eastern Florida State College.
