The second-ranked Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team lost to LSU-Eunice Saturday afternoon in Millbrook, Alabama.
The Titans fell to 2-2 on the season with the 3-1 loss.
LSU-Eunice took the early lead, scoring on a corner kick that was well placed in front of the net. Eastern Florida State College would keep possession for much of the first half but would head into halftime trailing 1-0.
LSU-Eunice would score two more times in the second half.
The Titans would cut into the lead as Tiggi Gent found Aimee Longhurst for the lone EFSC goal. It was the third goal of the season for Longhurst.
Eastern Florida State College will open the conference season Tuesday evening on the road, travelling to Polk State College for a 5:30 p.m. game.
