Women's soccer team opens season with dominant win

The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team opened the regular season with a commanding victory over Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on Thursday evening.

The Titans got off to a fast start led by sophomore Morgan Gamin who scored three times in the first 10 minutes as No. 4 Eastern Florida State College won 10-0.

Gamin had the hat trick early as the Titans would score six times in the first half. Teammate and freshman Kaley Vitaliano also scored three times in the contest. Laura Di Mascio, Sofia Posner, Mia Lewis and Zara Anderson all had goals in the win.

The Titans won their opener for the second straight season and the team will now play a couple of scrimmages, traveling to Keiser University on Wednesday and then play at Florida Tech on Saturday, August 26.

Eastern Florida State College will be home for the first time this season on Sunday, September 3 against Laramie County Community College.
