Eight EFSC women's soccer players moving on to play at four-year schools

Eight members of the Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team will be moving on to four-year schools in the Fall.

The eight players helped the Titans to the semifinals of the NJCAA Division I National Tournament and several were on the national championship team in 2021.

Laura Cetina, who finishes her two years at EFSC with 18 goals in 25 games, will be heading to UMass Lowell in the fall. UMass Lowell is moving to NCAA Division I and joined the America East Conference. The River Hawks went 7-7-4 overall and lost in the conference tournament quarterfinals. Cetina was named to United Soccer Coaches First Team All-America team and also was NJCAA Division I All-America first teamer which rounds out one of the most decorated two-year careers in Titans program history

Putri Sazali is heading to Rochester, Michigan to attend Oakland University where the Grizzlies were 8-4-7 last season. Sazali started seven games last season and played in 18 games in the two seasons with the Titans.

Isabelle Cassidy Bernier will head to Alabama to play for Alabama A&M and play in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Bernier played in seven games last season and had three goals and an assist.

Lena Stevens will head home to Salt Lake to play for Westminster College where the NCAA Division II Griffiths went 10-6-2 last season and were 8-3-1 in the Rocky Mountain Conference. Stevens played in 32 games over three seasons, starting 17 for the Titans and had five goals and nine assists.

Akatarinha Papagiorgio played in 11 games, starting seven as a defensive back and will play at St. Leo University next season. St. Leo went 8-6-2 overall and 4-5-1 in the Sunshine State Conference last season and lost in the conference tournament quarterfinals. Papagiorgio finished with a goal and an assist.

Logan Humbert will attend Valdosta State in the Fall as the Blazers finished 3-10 last season the Gulf South Conference. Humbert started seven games as a defender for the Titans and had two goals and two assists. Humbert played in 22 games in her two seasons with the Titans.

Isla Brown is heading to Cumberland University who lost in the semifinals of the NAIA National Tournament last season. The Phoenix finished 9-0-1 in the Mid-South Conference and was 18-2-3 overall. Brown played in six games last season and had a goal and two assists.

Mia Elliott will attend Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia next season. Brenau University went 7-3-3 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference last season, falling in the conference tournament quarterfinals in the NAIA. Elliott played in 18 games in her career at Eastern Florida State College.
