Cetina, Dunne named to United Soccer Coaches First Team All-America team

A pair of Eastern Florida State College women's soccer players were named to the United Soccer Coaches Junior College First Team All-America team on Tuesday.

Midfielders Laura Cetina and Kailey Dunne were both named to the first team after helping the Titans to a 12-3 season in which they reached the NJCAA Division I National Tournament semifinals for the sixth straight season.

Cetina, the sophomore from A Corona, Galicia, Spain, scored 13 goals and had three assists this season and adds United Soccer Coaches All-America team to the NJCAA Division I First Team All-America team honor she received last year. It is her second straight season being named to the United Soccer Coaches first team.

Dunne, a sophomore from Satellite Beach, finished the season with four goals and five assists, starting 13 games for the Titans.

Both players finished their two seasons with the Titans with two trips to the national tournament, winning a national championship in 2021.

United Soccer Coaches Junior College All-America Teams will be recognized for their accomplishments at the All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
