No. 1 women's soccer team hosts No. 20 Polk State in conference opener Wednesday
The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team will open the Region 8 Conference schedule Wednesday night.
The No. 1 ranked Titans will host No. 20 Polk State College in the conference opener at 7 p.m. at Orlando Health Stadium. Eastern Florida State College comes into the matchup unbeaten at 6-0 with sophomore Laura Cetina leading the offense with eight goals this season.
Polk State College is also unbeaten at 7-0 this season and is led by Raisa Lugo who has 14 goals which is fifth in the nation.
The Titans, who are the defending national champions, have won the past three meetings with the Eagles tying the Titans in 2021. In the past 10 meetings the Titans are 8-1-1.
Wednesday night's game at Orlando Health Stadium on the Melbourne campus is free for fans to attend and the game will also be shown live online at the EFSC Titans YouTube page.
