Women's soccer team faces Laramie County CC Monday in top 20 battle
The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team will face a top 20 team for the third straight game Monday morning in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
The No. 1 ranked Titans, who are the defending national champions, will play No. 16 Laramie County Community College at 1 p.m. eastern time in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Laramie County CC is coming off an overtime loss to No. 9 Iowa Western and is 0-1 on the season.
Eastern Florida State College is coming off a 4-3 victory against Iowa Western on Saturday and opened the season with a 3-2 win against No. 3 Salt Lake Community College.
Sophomore and reigning United Soccer NJCAA Player of the Year Laura Cetina has three goals in the first two games this season for the Titans. Cetina scored twice in the 4-3 win on Saturday.
Following Monday's game, the Titans will return to Orlando Health Stadium for a game Saturday night at 7 p.m. against Southwestern Illinois. Admission to Orando Health Stadium is free and Saturday night's game will be shown live on WEFS-TV, which is channel 9 or 455 on Spectrum, 68 on DirecTV, 30 on Dish and 68 on AT&T Uverse.
