No. 1 women's soccer team on the road Saturday for top 10 battle

The No. 1-ranked Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team will be back on the field Saturday afternoon in Wyoming.

The Titans, who are 1-0 and the defending national champions, will play No. 9 Iowa Western at 3 p.m. eastern time Saturday. The Reivers defeated No. 16 Laramie County Community College 2-1 in overtime on Friday to improve to 1-1-2.

Eastern Florida State College opened the season with a 3-2 victory over No. 4 Salt Lake Community College behind goals from Nancy Almanza, Logan Gilbert and Laura Cetina.

It will be the first of two games for the Titans in Wyoming as the team will play No. 16 Laramie County Community College on Monday.
