Women's soccer team ties Monroe College
The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team finished with a tie for the third time this season on Sunday morning at Orlando Health Stadium.
The No. 4 Titans played No. 12 Monroe College to a scoreless tie after 110 minutes of back and forth action.
Eastern Florida State College had a couple of good looks but for the most part it was a matchup of two good defenses.
As the clock was winding down in the second overtime it looked like the Titans were going to pick up the win but Courtney Jade Butlion's shot just missed as time expired.
The Titans will be back at Orlando Health Stadium for a Region VIII Conference match Wednesday night against Polk State College at 7 p.m. Eastern Florida State College is 1-0 in the conference while Polk State is 0-1.
