Trio make United Soccer All-American teams

Eastern Florida State College women's soccer players Morgan Miller and JJ Bryant were named United Soccer Association first team All-Americans.

Miller, a sophomore from Melbourne, was also named first team NJCAA Division I All-American becoming the sixth Titan to be first team All-American in both the United Soccer and NJCAA in the same season.

The midfielder led the team with 17 goals this season and assisted on four others for the 16-1 Titans. She was also named the Region 8 Player of the Year earlier in the season.

Bryant, a sophomore from Viera, scored a goal and had an assist as one of the defenders for the Titans. Bryant started 16 games for the Titans and was one of the key pieces to a defense that had 11 shutouts this season.

Sophomore midfielder Alexis Peri was named to the United Soccer Association All-American second team. The Satellite Beach native played holding midfielder for the Titans and started all 17 games this season with five assists. 

The United Soccer Coaches Association also named the all-region teams and the women's soccer team had four players make the All-South Region team.

Joining Miller, Bryant and Peri on the team is freshman forward Francesca Espinoza who scored 11 goals and assisted on 11 other goals in her first season with the Titans.
