Women's soccer team is No. 2 seed for national tournament

The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team is the No. 2 seed in next week's NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament which will be at Eastern Florida State College this year.

The Titans come into the tournament 14-0 and won the Southeast District title to advance to the national tournament for the eighth straight season.

They will be in Pool B with No. 7 seed Gillette and No. 11 CCBC Essex are also in the pool with one team advancing to the semifinals, which will be Friday.

Monroe College is the No. 1 seed in the tournament and will play No. 8 Laramie County and No. 12 Monroe Community College in Poll A.

No. 4 Lewis & Clark, No. 5 Hill and No. 9 Navarro are in Pool D and No. 3 Tyler, No. 6 Snow and No. 10 Seminole State are in Pool C.

The tournament will be held at Orlando Health Stadium on the Melbourne campus beginning Monday. For more information on the tournament, click here. Tickets can be purchased at the gate and are $10 for adults and $7 for students for individual games or all-matches passes are $35 for adults and $15 for students.
