Women's soccer team moves up in NJCAA poll

The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team moved up one spot to No. 3 in the NJCAA Division I poll released on Tuesday.

The Titans are 1-0 this season after an opening-season win against Southwestern Illinois College. Friday night's home game against Laramie County Community College has been cancelled due to Hurricane Dorian. Laramie moved up to No. 4 in the latest poll.

Eastern Florida State College will travel to Tennessee on Sept. 14 to play Columbia State Community College before opening the Region 8 schedule on Sept. 21.

Monroe College remains No. 1 in the poll while Tyler Junior College is No. 2.

The Titans will be back at Titan Soccer Complex on Sept. 25 against No. 8 Daytona State College at 6 p.m.
