Women's soccer team No. 4 in NJCAA Division I poll

The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team will begin the season No. 4 in the NJCAA Division I poll.

The Titans, who fell in the semifinals of the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament, will open the regular season Thursday night against Southwestern Illinois who is receiving votes in the poll. The game will begin at 6 p.m. at Titan Soccer Complex.

Overall the Titans will play four teams in the Division I preseason poll, all four also in the top 10. Monroe College will begin the season No. 1 in the poll while Tyler Junior College is No. 2 and Iowa Western is third.

After Thursday's home game the Titans will head to Kansas for a big weekend of soccer, playing No. 8 Butler Community College and then on Sept. 2 they will play Navarro College who is No. 5 in the poll on Sept. 1.
