Women's soccer program releases 2019-20 schedule

For the fifth straight season, the Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team will open the season at home.

The Titans will begin the 2019-20 season against Southwestern Illinois College on Aug. 22. Eastern Florida State College finished last season 16-3-1 and reached the semifinals of the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament and beat them 2-0 last season and have a four-game win streak against the Blue Storm.

The women's soccer team will then go to Wichita, Kansas on Aug. 31 and Sept. 2 to face two teams that have strong winning traditions and were both in the NJCAA Division I National Championship Tournament last year. On Aug. 31 the Titans will play Butler Community College who went 18-6 last year and then on Sept. 2 they will play Navarro College who was 15-2-2 last season.

The Titans will return home with a matchup against another team that was in the national tournament, Laramie County Community College who finished last year 12-7. Last season the two teams met twice, once in the season opener and again in the NJCAA Tournament with the Titans winning both matchups.

After a quick trip to Tennessee to play Columbia State Community College on Sept. 14, the Titans will open the Region 8 Conference schedule on the road Sept. 21, traveling to Broward College.

The Titans will host Daytona State College on Sept. 25 and then ASA Miami on Sept. 28 before wrapping up the home schedule with games against Polk State College Oct. 2 and Broward College on Oct. 5.

Eastern Florida State College will wrap up the regular season with three straight Region 8 games on the road, finishing at ASA Miami on Oct. 19.
