Former Titan leads Jamaica into semifinals vs. U.S. team

Former Eastern Florida State College women's soccer player Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw has led the Jamaican national team to the semifinals of the CONCACAF Women's Championships.

Shaw, who was a first team All-American with the Titans, has scored 18 goals in 11 games for Jamaica including two game-winning goals. The Reggae Girlz are just one win away from not only their first-ever FIFA Women's World Cup berth, but also becoming the first Carribean team to advance to the finals.

It will be a tough road as they face the United States in the semifinals at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. The game can be seen on FS1.

The winner will advance to the CONCACAF Women's Championship final while automatically qualifying for the 2019 Women's World Cup. The loser will play in the third-place game, where the winner of that contest will also qualify. That means the Reggae Girls have to win just one of their next two matches to play in France in 2019.
