Women's soccer team loses at ASA Miami

The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team lost on the road Saturday night, falling to ASA Miami 2-1 in Hialeah.

Sophomore Klesha Darroux scored 10 minutes into the contest to give the Titans a 1-0 lead. It was the eighth goal of the season for Darroux who has six of those goals in the past four games.

But ASA Miami tied the game before halftime and then scored the game-winner early in the second half.

The Titans (8-2-1 overall and 4-2 in the conference) and Daytona State College are tied in the loss column for the top spot in the Region 8 Conference and will meet at Titan Soccer Complex next Saturday at 7 p.m. But first the Titans will host Polk State in a conference matchup Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
