Three women's soccer players named All-Americans

Three members of the Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team were named All-Americans by the United Soccer Coaches association.

Midfielder Katie Lockwood and forward Nathali Da Silva were all named to the first team while defender Juna Suppan made the second team.

Da Silva, a sophomore from Rio de Janeiro, finished with a team-high 18 goals and 12 assists and helped the Titans make a run in the postseason with eight goals in the six games.

Lockwood, a sophomore from Huddersfield, England, finished with 17 goals and 12 assists including two games in which she scored four goals. Lockwood scored in nine of the team's 16 games this season and had three game winners.

Suppan, a sophomore from Germany, started all 16 games and led a defensive unit that posted eight shutouts and allowed 0.99 goals per game this season. Suppan also had a goal and two assists.

"What a great achievement for these three young ladies to be named All American. They have carried on the great history of All Americans at Eastern Florida," Eastern Florida State College women's soccer coach Jeff Carr said. "Their passion and hard work separate them from the rest and I was very fortunate to be able to coach them the past two years.  They have excelled here at Eastern Florida and because of that we have been to the National Tournament the last two years.  An amazing accomplishment and I am thrilled for all three of them."

It is the sixth straight season that a member of the Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team has been named All-American.
