Women's soccer team shuts out Polk State

The Eastern Florida State College women's soccer team shut out Polk State 10-0 in a Region 8 Conference match on Wednesday afternoon.

Sophomore Katie Lockwood had a big game for the Titans, scoring four goals and assisting on two other goals in the win as the Titans improved to 7-1 overall and 4-1 in the conference. Lockwood now has eight goals and seven assists this season.

Teammates Nathali Da Silva and Cristina Garriga each scored twice while Klesha Darroux and Juna Suppan each scored once in the contest. Sarah Deinert and Megan Green combined on the shutout as the Titans outshot Polk State 32-2 in the contest.

The Titans, who have won three straight games, will be back at Titan Soccer Complex Friday afternoon, hosting ASA Miami at 4 p.m. Admission to Titans sporting events are free.
