Women's Soccer Associate Head Coach Moon Inducted into Hall of Fame

Eastern Florida women's soccer associate head coach Teresa Moon is among the latest inductees to the Florida Tech Hall of Fame.

Moon, a four-year member of the women's soccer team from 2006-09 as Teresa Brantley, ended her career as the most prolific scorer in program history with 38 goals and 86 total points.

In 2009, she became the program's first recipient of both the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year and the SSC Offensive Player of the Year and is responsible for the first-ever hat trick in program history.

Also that year, she guided the Panthers to a school single-season record 15 wins, a second round appearance in the NCAA Tournament and a final national ranking at No. 24 in the Division II poll.

Moon joined Eastern Florida's coaching staff and head coach Jeff Carr in 2014 as an assistant coach and was promoted to associate head coach this year. She has been part of two of the Titans' four consecutive NJCAA Women's Division I Championship tournament appearances. The Titans reached the semifinal in 2014 and the final in 2015. They are 31-2-2 over the past two seasons.

"What a tremendous honor for Teresa and her family," Carr said. "She is very deserving of this honor and it is a testament to her character and hard work as a player at Florida Tech and has continued as a coach here at Eastern Florida."
