Brantley Moon Named Women's Soccer Associate Head Coach

Teresa Brantley Moon has been named associate head coach of Eastern Florida State College's women's soccer team.

The promotion was announced by Associate Vice President of Athletics and women's soccer head coach Jeff Carr.

Teresa Moon Brantley Moon joined the Titan staff in 2014 as an assistant coach. She played for high school and club state championship teams in Brevard County before becoming a record-setting scorer at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne where she was the 2009 Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year. She graduated from FIT in 2010 with a Bachelor in Business Administration.

She holds a USSF National "B" License and serves as head coach of the West Shore Jr./Sr. High School girls soccer team as well as head coach of the Space Coast United U-14 Elite/NPL girls club team.

The Titans finished as NJCAA Division I runner-up for the second time in four seasons in November, posting a 17-1 record. They reached the national semifinals in 2014, finishing with a 13-1-2 record.

"We are very excited to promote Teresa to this position," Carr said. "She has done a great job as an assistant coach and is very deserving to be elevated to Associate Head Coach. Her knowledge of the game and her passion for it are a huge benefit to our program. We look forward to her continued contributions as we strive to get better on and off the field every day."
