Women's golf team in second place at Kinderlou Forest Spring Invite

The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team is in second place at the KInderlou Forest Spring Invite at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Course in Georgia.

The Titans shot a 314 in the first round and is in second place as teams have a couple of holes left in the second round to finish on Tuesday before the final round begins in Valdosta, Georgia.

Mila Tang opened with a 3-under 69 in the first round and is tied for the individual lead at 1-over through 15 holes of the second round. SCAD Savannah's Yunyi Luo is also at 1-over through 16 holes heading into the final day.

Teammate Ann Burel is tied for sixth overall after finishing the day at 2-under through 16 holes in the second round. Jenna Barnett is at 13-over for the tournament after a 1-over round through 16 holes in the second round. Emma Parker is at 18-over while Brittany Odic is at 20-over heading into the final day. Cayden Challacombe is at 28-over through 15 holes of the second round as an individual for the Titans.

SCAD Savannah is leading the tournament after shooting a 300 in the first round. Dalton State is in third place, five strokes behind the Titans with Southeastern fourth and Truett McConnell fifth overall.

The tournament will wrap up Tuesday, finishing the second round and playing the final round.
