Women's golf team places third at NJCAA Southeast District Championship

The Eastern Florida State College women's golf team finished third in the NJCAA Division I Southeast District Championship in Palm Coast.

The Titans shot a 324 in the final round at the Conservatory Golf Club. Seminole State College won the event, shooting a 298 in the final round.

Sophomore Gracie Doke shot a 75 in the second round and placed fourth overall at 8-over par for the two rounds.

Brittany Odic shot an 81 for the second straight round and finished 11^th overall and Jenna Barnett finished 12^th after shooting an 83. Jaida Furlow tied for 15^th overall and Emma Parker was 17^th.

Seminole State's Jane Huang won the medalist title, shooting a 73 in the final round and was 3-over for the tournament. Teammate Tabitha Hanely was second at 5-over.

Eastern Florida State College will now wait to see if they receive an at-large bid into the NJCAA Division I National Tournament.
